Jess & Ryan's Wedding

J&R chose Quantock Lakes for their mid‑March celebration, the perfect setting to kick off the 2026 wedding season for Twenty Six. After a week of rain, the morning began grey, but just as guests gathered and portraits were about to begin, the clouds lifted and blue skies settled in for the rest of the day.

The sunshine held through the reception, giving everyone the ideal backdrop for confetti moments, lakeside mingling and plenty of laughter. Their day was full of personality from start to finish, with surprise ring bearers, a singing waiter that caught the bride’s uncle completely off guard, and a dance floor that came alive with the worm and some impressive Irish dancing from one of the bridesmaids.

J&R booked full‑day coverage, allowing me to document everything from morning prep through to the evening party, and I’ve not stopped scrolling through their gallery since.

It was the most joyful start to spring and to 2026.
